Describe MiraGreen

MiraGreen is the first super concentrated chemical product designed specifically for Sustainability through its odor control, cleaning and waste treatment capabilities.

How does MiraGreen eliminate odors?

MiraGreen eliminates odors through a process of low molecular weight proteins that trigger the cell of odor causing bacteria to devour their own protective layer and nutrient (their biofilm), thus eliminating the source of the odor (a natural process with no toxic components).

How does MiraGreen Clean?

MiraGreen utilizes a special surfactant package that allows the cleaner and detergent package to penetrate any effluents on the surface to be cleaned better than any other available cleaner. It has an Interfacial Tension (IFT – this measures the ability of a product to penetrate through soils) considered 

extremely low (.42 – most products in this category have an IFT of approximately 2.0 - low is good) and unmatched by industry standards.

What is MiraGreen’s effect on environmental issues and Sustainability?

There are no federal standards for Sustainability and many products are called green cleaners, although they are not by most standards, including the strict standards that Toryon Technologies, Inc. adheres to. MiraGreen exceeds most green, sustainable standards and allows you to meet your sustainable goals better that any other product available in the market. Our patent attests to this. Again, MiraGreen uses no toxic components.

What is the cost of using MiraGreen?

MiraGreen costs approximately 50 cents per gallon of using solution, making it a very cost effective odor eliminator/cleaner. It’s ease of usage and product effectiveness also helps to reduce labor costs over other cleaning products and methods.

Why would I use MiraGreen vs. other Sanitizing or Disinfecting products?

MiraGreen is more effective than most EPA registered sanitizing or disinfecting products, including bleach, quaternary ammonium compounds and phenolic disinfectants, for eliminating odor causing bacteria and for general cleaning. EPA registered products, which are typically needed to treat blood borne bacteria, are overused in our environment. Using them adds unneeded toxins into the environment. They also are not as safe to use. EPA registered products are mostly ineffective for every day all purpose cleaning (i.e. they are overused just as antibiotics are over prescribed).

Is MiraGreen safer and more environmentally friendly than competitive products?

MiraGreen accomplishes its task utilizing zero toxic components. MiraGreen contains no solvents thus it does not emit volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). The pH of MiraGreen is relatively neutral so it is not harsh to handle and works on almost all surfaces. Most other products require the use of harsh chemicals to try to accomplish what MiraGreen does without the use of these harsh components. MiraGreen is very safe for users and the people that come into contact with it. 

MiraGreen also begins the waste treatment process of the soils on the surface cleaned, immediately upon contact. It helps to keep drains clean and is actually used by sanitary districts in their water treatment facilities to make potable water.

How quickly will foul odors return after using MiraGreen?

MiraGreen doesn’t just mask odors like many products, it actually 

eliminates the odors, thus you do not get a bounce back effect from 

previous odor contaminating bacteria. The odor will not come back until the 

source of the odor is produced once again.

How should MiraGreen be used and applied?

MiraGreen is used at between 2 and 4 ounces of MiraGreen super concentrate 

for every gallon of water used. Most applications only require 2 ounces per 

gallon. For extremely bad odors and tough cleaning applications, 4 ounces of 

MiraGreen per gallon of water should be used. 

MiraGreen can be applied by spray, rag, brush, mop, high pressure spray and 

most other application techniques. Although MiraGreen has no deleterious 

effects on most surfaces, test a small section of the surface to be cleaned prior 

to use. MiraGreen does not require a water rinse but can be rinsed if the 

surface it is used on requires it.

Is MiraGreen successful in the Marketplace?

Yes.  MiraGreen was recently introduced and has already received accolades 

in the marketplace. Mayor Daley’s office in the City of Chicago has recognized 

MiraGreen and this has helped Toryon to secure multi-million dollar contracts 

with the city to utilize MiraGreen to clean all of the buses, trains, rail platforms 

and city park facilities.

MiraGreen is one of the most Sustainable products available in the
